FACILITY MANAGEMENT ON WHEELS (Wednesday 25 October 2011)

In accordance with the direction of the Chairman Engr. Saif H. Al Kaabi, the Company is continuing its drive for improved delivery and client satisfaction. The Company’s facility management arm, EXPRESS, Facility Management LLC will be the first facility management company in the region to utilize a state-of-the-art large size facility management vehicle. This service will ensure the delivery of professional management in a more efficient reaction time.

 

The truck carries a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment and tools necessary to service heating, ventilation and air conditioning units in addition to a variety of building systems such as elevators, escalators, plumbing systems and fixtures, wet and dry utility lines, fire protection and fire prevention systems. The truck also carries the basic tools necessary to perform basic maintenance functions.

 

The application of this service will be limited to the Abu Dhabi area and will be implemented as a pilot program. The service shall be expanded to other regions of the Emirate through the purchase of additional trucks once the program proves its efficiency.

Signing off Secure Integrated Management System (Thursday 5th of March 2011)

On Thursday 5th of March 2011 the C-levels and all Secure Department Heads including the process owners had gathered to sign off the policies and procedures. In addition, the Strategy & Performance Improvement Department had organised an official Kick-Off Meeting on 29th May at the Police Officer’s Club to announce the official launch of the Integrated Management System (IMS). At the end of the workshop all the Department Heads had agreed to communicate the IMS procedures and the QEHS policies to their team.

 

 

 

 

Secure in UK (Sunday 1st May, 2011)

A committee from Engineering Project Administration (EPA) with one of Secure members and a group of students of BUiD’s project Management visited University of Manchester in the first week of May 2011. The purpose of the committee is to strengthen the relationship with our Strategic Education Partners in the UK. Special programmes had been developed like exchange programs to introduce the Education Systems in both countries. Further, the committee had played a role to market Secure as a professional semi-government entity. Achievements: • Discounts could be offered in case of educational and training programs offered to SECURE professionals;

 

• BUiD and SECURE would work closely on research based on higher studies i.e. PGD and PhD;

 

• SECURE has been included in the list of BUiD partners for future development

 

Abu Dhabi Police Sand Ball Beaches and Secure (Wednesday 4th May, 2011)

Corniche Abu Dhabi had witnessed the crowing of Al Niady team out of the 16 strong competitors on 4th May, 2011. The event was organized by Abu Dhabi Police sport club and under Secure's patronages.

 

The Brigadier General Salem Mubark Al Shamsy- Deputy Director of the Directorate General of Financial and Services attended the finals with key personnel from EPA Colonel Saif Hamdan Al Kaabi- head of EPA & Secure's Chairman, Captain Hamad Al Asri -Secure CEO and Lt. Colonel Ibrahim Ali Mohammad Ibrahim from EPA.
